PS 11 Programs Inc.

The class will be held offsite at or near the Chelsea Piers Skatepark.  Two sessions of this course will be held on Tuesdays and Fridays from school dismissal to 4:15.  The class on Tuesdays is for Beginners;  Fridays for Intermediate/Advanced.  Students will walk to the skatepark with Afterschool Staff and will return to PS 11 by 4:15 pm.

This class is open to 2nd-5th graders.  Intermediate/Advanced students must have prior skateboarding experience, preferably with Louie.  All students must have their own board, pads and helmet.  There will not be any equipment available to borrow.  Please email us with any questions about equipment or if you are unable to purchase the equipment.  

The beginner class is an introduction to skateboarding and skateboarding safety, proper form and posture, turning, acceleration and stopping. 

The intermediate/advanced class...

Louie has been a professional skateboarder sponsored by numerous companies for the past 12 years. He has been teaching children and adults how to skateboard for over 15 years. Louie has taught at renowned private schools, and sports camps across the tri-state area. 

This is a premium class and costs $45 per week.
